Blue tooth discoverable problem

In my (Blackberry 8700F-orange) set, blue tooth discoverable is set on "NO", and i can not change with "YES", because it is locked. Kindly guide me, how can i change the setting. My set is working with blue tooth hands free....

voice message icon ?(small white rectangle with 2 black dots) next to unread messages icon.

there is an icon indicating that there is a call pending or voice message when there isn't. How do I get rid of it ? ...
